A regular notary works from a fixed location (bank, UPS Store). A mobile notary travels to the signer — home, office, hospital, hotel, jobsite — and works around the signer's schedule, including nights and weekends.
What do I need to have ready?
The unsigned document(s) and a current government-issued photo ID (driver's license, passport, military ID or state ID). Don't sign the document before we arrive — Georgia law requires you to sign in the notary's presence.
Do you notarize documents for other states?
Yes. As long as the signing takes place in Georgia, a Georgia notary can notarize documents that will be filed or used in any other U.S. state.
Can you notarize for someone who can't come to a bank?
