Common questions

What ID do I need for a Georgia notary?

Every signer needs a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID such as a driver's license, state ID or passport.

Do I need witnesses for my documents?

Hospital, power of attorney, healthcare directive and some real estate documents often need 1 or 2 witnesses. Atlanta 24 Hour Notary can provide witnesses for $50 each; the notary cannot serve as a witness.

Should I sign my document before the notary arrives?

No. Leave signature lines blank — the signer must sign in front of the notary.
